Heather Gelting

Heather was selected for the Executive Director position in 2022 by a unanimous vote of the Board, following a recommendation from the Board’s Search Committee, at the conclusion of a national search. Heather came to the Trust with an extensive professional background where she worked for over 25 years in Human Resources leadership, administration, education, and consulting. She held the position of Director of Human Resources at The Hill School for ten years and actively served on the HBT Board of Trustees and the Communications Committee during that time. Heather holds a B.S. in Psychology from Temple University and an M.S. in Human Resources Management from Penn State University. She and her husband Bruce raised three children in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, where they have lived for the past 24 years.    

 

Joan Barone

When the Trust was formed in 2014, Joan was elected as one of the original trustees and assumed the role of treasurer. In 2018, Joan left the Trust’s board as well as her longtime position as director of finance and operations with PAISBOA-member Waldron Mercy Academy to serve as the Trust’s interim executive director. Once a permanent executive director was hired, Joan moved into the role of associate director, where she continued to lend her expertise to the Trust. Joan's previous professional experience includes work in the investment banking and commercial lending fields and she currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the PAISBOA Health Benefit Trust. She holds a BBA in marketing from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in finance from Drexel University. Joan and her husband, Joe, have three daughters and have enjoyed living in Penn Valley, Pennsylvania, for the past 30+ years.


Andrea Bagnell

Andrea joined the Trust staff in March of 2020. She comes to PAISBOA Health Benefit Trust from a nonprofit organization where she served as the Development Officer. Andrea brings many years of diverse professional experience in nonprofit fundraising, project management, and corporate sales and marketing to her role with the Trust. She earned her BS in business administration with a concentration in marketing from the University of Delaware. Andrea has lived in Narberth, Pennsylvania, for 30 years with her husband, Tom, and their three children, all of whom have attended independent schools.
